Stonefly Amber Inclusion

A gorgeously preserved Stonefly, showing every detail from the lines of the body, to the segments of its antenne. This specimen is scarce in fossil resin because they naturally inhabit freshwater streams rather than the deep forest environments where resin-producing trees grow. They account for less than 1% of Baltic amber insect inclusions, marking this specimen as extremely rare.
